What is a battery test & replacement?

A battery test measures cranking amps, state of charge and state of health, then checks the alternator output and parasitic drain so we can tell whether the battery is failing or something else is flattening it.

If replacement is needed we supply and fit a correctly specified battery, register it where the vehicle requires it, and safely recycle the old unit.

Why it matters

Why this service is required

• Heat is the biggest killer of car batteries, and Brisbane summers routinely cut battery life to three or four years.
• A weak battery makes the alternator work harder and can damage sensitive electronics and start-stop systems.
• Most batteries fail with almost no warning — usually on the coldest morning or in the busiest car park.
• Fitting the wrong battery type (AGM vs flooded, or an unregistered battery on a modern car) causes charging faults and early failure.
